Q: What is a Visa on Arrival?
A: The Visa on Arrival was a limited facility for visitors coming from 12 countries (Cambodia, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Luxembourg, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam), who were allowed to get their visas upon arrival to the country.
The ETA replaces the Visa on Arrival. Visa on Arrival eligible countries can’t apply on arrival to India anymore but are eligible for the ETA visa.
